Boehringer Ingelheim and Lilly, together with the chef and television presenter Alberto Chicote, have launched the campaign '#diabetesportucorazón', with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of adopting healthy lifestyles to prevent and control the disease, as well as warning aboutThe cardiovascular problems associated with this pathology.
'#Diabetesportucorazón', which will take place throughout this year, has been organized in three large lines of action: healthy eating, practice of regular physical exercise and importance of being informed.
A campaign aimed at the general population, but especially to people suffering from type 2 diabetes, since in Spain there are more than 3 million patients with this type, a figure that is increasing despite the fact that up to 80 percent ofCases could be prevented by adopting healthy lifestyle habits.
At the start of the initiative, Alberto Chicote has starred in a video purpose where he explains the different actions that he will carry out under the campaign and challenges patients and himself to improve his cardiovascular health in one year.
