It is the 14th edition of the Education course for people with diabetes and their families.The first meeting will be held this Friday.
This course is organized by the Diabetology Unit of the Santamarina Polyclinic by Dr. Gabriel Lijteroff and will be attended by professionals specialized in the subject.
The meetings will be held on the last Friday of each month freely and free until December inclusive.
The first meeting will be held at the Monte Grande Athletic Club (Hipólito Yrigoyen 77), this Friday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to 11 am.It should be said that there is no need for prior registration and is totally open to the community.
In the course, which has the support of the Municipality of Esteban Echeverría, Lijteroff and the group of doctors who accompany it will expose myths and truths of diabetes, ways of treating them and food plans for people who live with said disease.
In the district, more than 3,000 patients are treated for diabetes and in Argentina 9.6% of the population over 18 years of age suffers.
