Hello, I am new and father of a 7 -year -old who started with diabetes a year ago and a few months ago, I wantedI would like to know what I could do about it.I have also seen in the forums the new insulin Tresiba, of which our endocrine has not told us anything, and I would like to know if it goes well and if social security finances it.We are from Burgos and here it gives me the feeling that social security gives you the strips and insulins and the rest of possible advances or improvements do not want to know anything. We are with the freestyle paid by us.Thank you and encourage everyone.

Hello!!!!
I attach a image of what the BOE says about the recommendations to see who is put in insulin bomb, but that has nothing to do, they put them if they want to be in those sections or not.
Link

Do not have the possibility of changing endorsement or going to another hospital where they put them more easily? This has been the solution of a lot of people?

There is also another option and it is the dialibre clinic in Madrid, they also put people from outside but some trips you will have to do, at its price you have the pumps, their fungible material, even continuous glucose meters such as Dexcom G5 with which you canSee the child's distance glucose, medical specialists in diabetes and other diverse. If you add everything you have right and value it, as long as you can pay, the price is not bad, if you have the aggravating problem that you do not see the way that social security puts the bomb (fer the creator of theForum has achieved a discount that is not bad if you go to this clinic).

The bomb fights for various hospitals or different endos.

All the best!!!Never stop fighting for your illusions.

Hello thank you for answering and so quickly, if I had thought about trying the change of endo but in Burgos it is the only one before there was a doctor who supported the issue of bombs but has been retired unfortunately. The change of hospital does not know if it will be possible and I do not know very well who will be investigated together with the Madrid clinic that you have told me.Thanks again and greetings
