The results obtained during the campaign indicate that 21 percent of tested patients have a very low risk of developing type 2 diabetes over the next ten years and 33 percent suffer a moderate risk.On the other hand, 40 percent of respondents should take preventive measures, since the results of the tests suggest that they may suffer risk of developing the disease in the next decade;In approximately half of these cases, the risk is very high.
As the pharmaceutical network details, “thanks to this campaign carried out by Alphega Pharmacy, 190 patients have been detected with a risk of more than 50% of suffering from type 2 diabetes or who already suffered without knowing it, which were referred to thedoctor.In addition to the Findrisk test, more than 600 glucose tests were performed.Thanks to them, cases of asymptomatic diabetes were also detected. ”
