The Municipal Health Directorate began the Diabetes Club program with the participation of more than 50 people who met with the purpose of knowing more about this condition than those afflicted.
The southern hill tamul was the meeting point where dozens of people arrived from an early time to receive medical attention from specialists in the subject, in addition to teaching them a nutritional talk and on the disease.
Martín Mireles Garza, director of Municipal Health in this regard, “the situation of medical services in the city is quite low, so we have implemented some support programs and that of diabetic patients is one of them, they suffer a lot of complications limiting theirFunctions and this affects the community, so the Diabetes Club was implemented. ”
He commented that this program is at the request of the municipal president Enrique Rivas, who has expressed on several occasions his concern for the health of Neoladenses offering medical care in more vulnerable sectors, due to the lack of health systems.
Mr. Ignacio Ruíz Rodríguez, now a member of the Diabetes Club, said that the program that began this Friday, helped him clarify many doubts that he had of his condition, especially in nutritional information and also received medical care.
