I share the content of the interview that Fede has done to @jconegar, his phrase "will do about three years I decided to change my life a bit" is the introduction that summarizes everything, you do not miss it !!!
The interview continues:
The only thing I want that with the dissemination of the sports training and tests that I do, which are not a nonsense to go out in the media is to demonstrate two things:
- "With diabetes if you can" although it is not easy to say that sometimes it is very complicated and not little, not everything is a sea of roses, it is very complicated and when you have more illusion you have something you fall the vase not ofcold water but of ice cubes.
- "It's never too late to start" (Thank you Mamen).I don't seek to get on a podium, I'm just looking to get to Meta and control my diabetes fighting with her.
The change was very hard, more than many you can think, zero sport to start moving the muscles, it all started thanks to Ramon Garrido with the Indoor cycle, he made me understand what the challenges were and to love the sport.
Later the companions and friends of the MTB group "The mechanical goat" taught me helped with the Mountain Bike, since I was not able to upload any mountain, some person in particular, Ana Belén was the one who made him feel special interest in distanceslong.
I started running and I had serious injuries, which made me stop almost half a year, I returned with running and I have to be very careful because I notice that the muscles continue to learn.
A little later the road bike where there have been several falls but you have to continue fighting, handling diabetes is not easy, simple and beautiful.
The sport not only helps me to overcome myself, but also mentally to clean my head and try to continue living, having some illusion, it is hard to have health problems, medical reports indicating what happens to me and that they ignore them or listen to you, I leave it there because I do not want to go around this matter, my head is a pressure cooker, I will dedicate a publication to them.
DT1 Team.By & amp;For diabetes a team of diabetic athletes, from them I learned seeing how they acted in sport and helped me to continue.
María José Otón Aparicio and Cenudi Center for Nutrition and Dietetics of María José OtónThose I do and she herself tells me to vary my diet.
Pedro Izquierdo Coach who with his head indicates how to thrive, seeing how I am improving little by little.I am complicated to train when I have an age and have to be watching that no injury is produced, since I am with the injuries they have been zero.
And a million thanks to all the people who encourage me, to the friends of the forum www.diabetesforo.com, the NSD (Loli Rubio and a great team of people) who send me courage to continue both on Facebook and inThe blog Link and next to the #Transdiabetes helps spread this precious message for many.
