Diabetes can reduce male fertility

Diabetes can reduce the fertility of men because this disease has been associated with various risk factors that affect male reproductive capacity, such as erectile dysfunction, ejaculatory disorders, or hypogonadism (testicles dysfunction).

The risk of infertility is increased if there is bad blood glucose control, an increase in the body mass index (BMI), or insulin resistance.

Although sexual dysfunctions are common in patients with diabetes, only some are made an adequate diagnosis and treatment.

However, although sexual dysfunctions are common in diabetes patients, only some are made an adequate diagnosis and treatment.

Therefore, and on the occasion of the celebration of the XIV days of the Scientific Committee of the Spanish Society of Clinical Biochemistry and Molecular Pathology (SEQC), experts of this society have indicated that the Andrology Laboratory is key to diagnosing and treating problems such asAzoospermia and ejaculation disorders.

According to these specialists, the lack of sperm in semen or erectile dysfunction (difficulty or inability to achieve erection) can be an indicator of a complex picture.

For a correct diagnosis of sexual dysfunction it is necessary, they explain, to carry out a detailed clinical interview to the patient in which the diseases that may have affected their reproductive health are detailed, and a physical examination that includes the examination of the genital apparatus.

Laboratory analysis, in which parameters such as the volume and pH of a semen sample can be evaluated can provide very valuable information when making the diagnosis and choosing some of the available therapeutic options, from pharmacological treatments or surgical interventions, even assisted reproduction techniques such as obtaining sperm of the testicle and intra -monotoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).

And tobacco, and drugs and stress and not sleep ... there are so many unknown factors ...
But men who smoke, drug themselves, are stressed and sleep little are parents, and also diabetes patients.

The reality is that urologists and Andrologists know almost any infertility. The reality is that 30% of couples are infertile and of them 90% is by male factor and all that I know any associated with diabetes.

Thank you @fer ... when you have gone through it you realize that the urologists, gynecologists and andrologists grab to anything to justify infertility but in reality there are people with the same habits and diseases that do not have the problem and manage to beparents.
It is a suffering for the couple, tests all kinds of treatment that indicate you, ask you why, how to solve it and in the end you psychologically crush you, destroy couples and have people.

Diabetic guys do not think it is for diabetes ... It is not really known.

Girls: treatments do not produce diabetes; My friends are not and I have developed it 6 years after leaving them and being perfectly healthy, without effects. There is no cause-effect relationship.

As @ruthbia says, it is an excuse to justify that medically anomaly.Everything can affect and more these days that there are many more inexplicable "oddities" or increase in them, than before. That a bad diabetes control affects male fertility?, Because if it causes other complications.that not having diabetes exempts you from that infertility? No, you can be super healthy and suffer that anomaly.Diabetes in many cases is like a joker that is used medically for many inexplicable situations to make them justifiable and credible.

Everything is always attributed to the damn diabetes, I am more than fed up.

On Friday night I spoke the twins with a spray to relax muscles, on Saturday as I left short I put my spray protection 50+, I made a 6 -hour run continuous to train for Non Stop of Almería on 28.

When I return they started chopping my legs.

On Sunday I had to go to Emergencies because I was fatal, an aquaconant reaction, do you know what they told me why it had happened?"You are type 1 diabetic you are immuno" I was checkered.

Instead of commenting that the anti -inflammatory produced greater skin photos and that happened, it is better to say you are diabetic. "

They always blame everything to diabetes.
Now in treatment with Urbason, corticosteroids and others, without being able to do sports until Monday/Tuesday that comes and this week was the most important, I had to put 100 units in one day to control the glucose.

The muscular relaxant is called Flogoprofen, he had already used it several times, according to a dermatologist that was later confirmed that it was reaction to the sun.Be very careful please, that life has screwed my life and not diabetes that already complicates me a lot.

When I had a good accident with the motorcycle crowded to know that it was diabetic, I listen to "this is not going to be able to heal"

To operate from the view for the idem myopia, you are not diabetic, we cannot operate here, without knowing anything about the controls you have.

It is clear that many professionals about diabetes are missing.

You have to try to wear good control, the best possible to avoid complications, but all the problems we can have are not for diabetes, it cannot be generalized in that way.

Forgive for the roll.

And always fight for your illusions, for your little or big challenges, whether it is, it will cost us more, we will suffer more, we will fall more perhaps but we can. That nothing stops you.

To recover @jconegar, like everyone in the life diabetics or not Murphy's law is present and appears when you want or expect it.A lot of encouragement and quiet, because if you are for the day of the test, I personally believe that you will fulfill how you have accustomed us despite this setback.

P.S.Do not use any spray again, better creams.Aerosols usually contain their vast majority alcohol or similar.
