Diabetes prevention focuses the linense celebration of World Health Day

The prevention of diabetes, as one of the diseases that today is a first -level public health problem, focused yesterday a good part of the activities held on the line by World Health Day.

The Department of Health organized a concentration of informative tables of the different associations that work on health on the line from which their volunteers distributed information and advice to prevent or reduce the effects of numerous pathologies.

Thus, entities such as the Immaculate Linense Diabetics Association were present;the association of cancer problems;Asansull or multiple sclerosis, among others.

Although all kinds of diseases were addressed, this year the celebration had as an outstanding disease diabetes.The celebration had the collaboration of José Romero, responsible for the advice on healthy habits developed by the Department of Health in the day centers.

"This year's goal has focused on the fight against diabetes through prevention. The day has accompanied in terms of weather and it is very satisfactory to see all groups working hand with a hand in the most important thing that we have toIt is nothing other than our health, "said the mayor, Juan Franco, after visiting the exhibitors with the mayor Rosa Pérez.Pérez highlighted the choice of diabetes because it is a disease whose impact on society grows year after year.

I hate that type1 and type2 diabetes share name.I hate it a lot.

It greatly harms the group of type1 for society.
