Gastroparesis is one of the most frequent gastrointestinal motor disorders in diabetic patients.The estimated prevalence is 50% when gastric motility studies are carried out, although it is only symptomatic in 5 to 12% of the patients, being more frequent in women and in patients with long evolution diabetes (& GT; 10 years).
The clinical manifestations of gastroparesis include:
a) nutritional alterations such as weight loss, caloric-protein malnutrition and vitamin deficiencies;
b) gastrointestinal manifestations such as nausea and vomiting, pain and abdominal distension, early filling and
Bezares formation;
c) Disorders in medication absorption,
d) Alteration of glucose homeostasis with frequent hyperglycemia episodes and hyperglycemia.

In the case of my girl, gastroparesia would greatly explain her instabling, and the symptomatology fully, although the endocrine has never performed any tests to determine the causes of being so unstable.In response to statistics, gastroparesis is quite frequent.Have you ever diagnosed you?
