This year, the seventh edition of Chefsforchildren promises to be a unique event full of solidarity, gathering more than 60 Michelin star chefs from all over Spain to support children with type 1 diabetes.

The event, which has as its motto "Eating healthy is fun", will offer culinary workshops and a gastronomic forum in different cities, where the little ones will learn to cook in a healthy way with renowned chefs such as Carlos Maldonado, Ángel León and Alberto Chicote. This learning is not only fun, but vital for those who live with this disease.

The initiative will culminate on April 28 with a spectacular beneficial gala dinner at Anantara Villa Padierna (Marbella). The funds raised will be destined for the Diabetescero Foundation, which leads research to find a cure for type 1 diabetes.

In Spain, more than 166,000 people live with type 1 diabetes, of which many are children.Every year, between 1,200 and 1,500 minors are diagnosed with this disease, which requires continuous care and balanced diet. Therefore, initiatives such as chefsforchildren not only teach healthy habits, but also generate hope by promoting scientific research.

Among the participating chefs, we find names as prominent as Elena Arzak, Martín Berasategui, Eneko Atxa, Quique Dacosta and many more, who contribute their talent in an altruistic way. This commitment not only inspires, but demonstrates the great power of gastronomy as a engine of change.
If you have the opportunity to attend, be it the workshops or the charity gala, do not hesitate to do it!It is an occasion to enjoy haute cuisine, support a crucial cause and share unforgettable moments.

From here, we encourage everyone to spread this event and, if possible, to collaborate with the Diabetescero Foundation.Together, we can make a difference and contribute to the advance in the investigation of type 1 diabetes.
