Hello good!I have a question about the medication.

I'm going on a study trip for 6 months.I need them to advance my medication. They have told me that this has to be done by the family doctor, but I am having a lot of problems because it seems that they cannot give me advance notice for more than 60 days.

Has anyone encountered a similar situation? What have you done or how would you do it?

Thank you all very much in advance

Hi @GeorginaRuf,

I understand that if you explain the situation to your family doctor, he or she will be able to give you advance medication.I guess you need to increase the number of units of insulin you use per day so you can pick them up at the pharmacy.

I think that every time they increase the number of daily units, even if it's just a couple of units, they are immediately available to pick up at the pharmacy, at least that's what happened to me in BCN.

You should repeat this process with your doctor, increase, increase, increase, increase, until you reach the amount of insulin you need. It's just a proposal, and I'm not sure if it can be done like this, but eIn any case they should be able to give you the solution.
