Sorry for opening a new post.It is likely that this has already been commented, but I just received the sensors at home and I have true vital urgency:-D for trying the damn apparatus, which I have since yesterday. Although I don't know if I'm going to dare to place it, I stillI put badly or take it.I don't know what to do.I would have to wait tomorrow to go to Endocrine at the hospital to put it on.

But well, my question is as follows. The dressing that brings around the sensor is enough for that to stop two long weeks put?I guess no, right? So what should I buy in the pharmacy to hit it and how do you stick?I must indicate (in case it is important for the type of dressing to buy) that I do sports 4 times a week and includes movements of all kinds in a gym.

First, I almost have an idea of the sensor's tricks ... the same ethics or velia can explain more.

But I think it will not be very different from the pump.

The pump cateter dressing I set with Nobecuta. It is a spray dressing.
Just before inserting the track, you spray the area a bit (previously washed and dry), you let a second and insert the catheter/sensor.

And that no longer takes off ... neither showers, neither sweat nor pool nor anything.

There are other possibilities that I explain on my website (thanks for the spam: oops :) Link

Well, I have gone to hosp.Cruces (where the device lent me) and nobody dares to place it (¡!!).Total, that I am in my office, with a continuous measurement equipment ready to work, and a sensor with its applicator in the bag here in front of my noses, without anyone (even less) dares to put it.The truth is that this will generate stress. They are 90 euros per bug.It is not just about placing it well, but that I hold for two weeks with showers, gyms and everything.Below those two weeks, it will be considered a failure and not amortized ...

And the commercials?Because when they granted me the bomb, the one that told me how to put it was the commercial of the house, so that neither emfermera nor educator, if not the commercial that had also taken it, that if with serum.

I have not bought the Dexcom. It is a unit belonging to the hospital, which in turn is ceded (I think) by Novalab.

is that I have not bought the Dexcom. It is a unit belonging to the hospital, which in turn is ceded (I think) by Novalab.

Even if you have not bought it they "give it to or sell" to the hopital I say and "sell" the consumables and if then it gives you to buy it. It is as the bomb does not belong to me is borrowed by the hospital and to the hospital they have been"Ceded" those of Medtronic and these sell to the hospital the consumables of the bomb (cateters), or that I have understood.

The bomb is a rentier
You pay about € 220/month per pump+consumables for 4 years.
From the 4th year, the price drops quite a lot or the pump is replaced

I have understood it badly, I believed that they ceded the bomb (it seemed to me rarely) and that they were charged with the comsumible but I thought it was € 300. Well is to know

Samozeus, the meter effectively gives me (not pump), and I pay me consumables. It is not a assignment for clinical use, but because "I use it", to call it somehow :-) Come on, they have that unit to lend it to patients who know what to do with the meter and know how to take advantage of the data that you arethrowBecause the clinical use meters they have are the Guardian but in blind mode, and as a Holter, when you return to the consultation, turn your data to analyze them.

The other day I bought Fixomull, from BSN.And it is an endless adhesive sheet. You cut what you want, and stick to the body. The advantage over Tegaderm is that you can put the size you want, it is Waterproof, and breathable, so sweat goes below the adhesive outward. And it is very fine too, like Tegaderm. But the first time I have put it, I have lasted perfectly stuck more than a week !!And it only began to take off in the area where I have more hair, which is the number one of these adhesives, as is logical.

Anyway, I think it's a good option.I put the photo.
