Hello everyone,
This year I thought about disconnecting my bomb for two weeks.I go on vacation to the "intensive" beach and I thought about disconnecting it.
Does anyone ever done it? How do you do it?
The educator has told me that I have to disconnect the bomb 4 hours before and then prick the Lantus, but I would like to know your opinion in practice.
Thank you.

I've only been with the bomb ... but 4 hours:-/
It is likely that the first day you need less insulin ... or in other words you need more total insulin units to have similar control.

The 4 hours will be so that the last basal bomb does not interfere with the Lantus.
But 4 hours seem a lot ... It is that at that time you will not hardly insulin in the body.:-/
