I don't know if this is already open somewhere.If so, redirect because I have not seen it.

The fact is that with my type 1 diabetes I have doubts about how many are the necessary carbohydrates that must be ingested per day.

I have seen a couple of diabalance diets that have surprised me because I put 220 of hydrates, it seemed a barbarity .. I do not know .. I am not very strict but approximately about 150 ..

Ultimately any more because I don't know if my body knows that I'm going to wear the dexcom .. that is like a kid's clock .. I get up in 70 and all the perfect day even yesterday I tried to dinner rice .. that beforeI could not even try at noon without fast and only with the Lantus I have risen in 75. I blame it for these last two weeks, I have regularly walked 3 km after eating and 4 after dinner on the walking tape ...

I have always been surprised by the difference I have had with other diabetic companions, especially for the amount of HC and consequently the amount of insulin I handle.

In a 2000 kcal diet, counting like HC milk, vegetables, flours and fruits to me 5 rations for breakfast, 2 in the middle of the morning, 9 in the food, 2 in the snack, 9 at dinner and 1 beforelie down.Total: 28 rations a day ... Do you do it more or less like that?It is that I have always eaten what has wanted to me and now they tell me to make a regular diet to be able to make the calculations better ... but it seems like an excessive amount of HC.

I do 1 at breakfast, when I get up, 2.5 or less an hour after, 4 at food and 4 at dinner.
I think each diabetic is a world and has different needs...

First of all apologize for my erroneous calculations on last day 14, and that Aaandres was very rightly noticed.
Indeed, the grams of hydrates that I put were not correct and were poorly expressed.Telling that each ration is equivalent to 10gr.of HC, (and no 20gr. As I had told) the daily rations that I take approx.are:

4-5 R at breakfast.
1-2 R in mid-morning.
8-9 r in lunch.
1-2 r in the snack.
8-9 r at dinner.

Rounding "up" I get 27 r a day.Which do 270 gr.of HC.

I hope you tell me if the calculations of rations (R) and carbohydrates (HC) are well made now.

Hopefully my "Ida of clamp" with the HC and R of day 14 have not confused you much.

Thank you chic@s, since Friday I have the Dexcom I have discovered one thing.When my 50-60 grams of paste hydrates were having dinner .. I took my walk of an hour I meddled at hour and two hours and gave great 110-120 and then in the morning I gave 80. So I said BuaaaHow good! Well, the Dexcom has given me a couple of whipping .. JJ because from three hours the sugar goes up and sticks at night 4 hours a160 or more and then go down in the morning.With which today .. change of plans .. I will try 60 grams but from other hydrates to see what happens .. This of Dexcom will change my life (the only thing that the day they put it to me and today it hurts at timesa lot ..) I don't know if it will be normal or that the area is not the most appropriate ..

In my diet the endocrine does not have me even mid -morning, or snack.Only breakfast, food, dinner and a yogurt before sleeping.In total 250 grams of carbohydrates per day.Use Levemir and Novorapid, Levemir in the morning (9 units) and at night (5 units) and Novo, in the morning (2 units), at lunchtime (5 units) and at night (2 units)

I do 5 or 6 with 7 points from Lantus a day.But as much less hydrates of 250, I take about 150 at most.I think I must climb the hydrates a little.

Age, sex, exercise you do, etc. is important

How do you calculate carbohydrates?I see that some do the transfer of rations to grams, but do you have calculated what is a ration in weight depending on the food?

For meals I take 2 - 4 - 4 base but there are days that more.And then there are the hypos that there can be faint

Why do you limit meals or rations?Diets, unless you are type 2, I'm afraid they only serve for that, carry a diet.With fast and basal insulin, you can eat everything, when the Real wins.That wearing a diet and schedules is prehistory.If as easy as knowing the hydrates you are going to eat, make the account of 10 gr of hydrates is a ration, and knowing the portions, multiplying by your ratio of effectiveness or acting.
