Hello hello

Fear gave me a Dexcom one+ to try because after 10 years of Libre, they no longer work well for me and I don't trust them.

In the last year they are not reliable at all, it is my experience and in yours that you see many patients. She proposed it to me.

Do you still have the same errors? It lasts 10 days instead of 15, but at least it can be calibrated.

Hello, you'll tell us how things are going with Dexcon because, the truth is, the Abbott thing is getting serious, between sensor failures and so on.

I have an appointment at the hospital in a couple of months and I want to see if it is worth asking to change the sensors.

In Madrid they have given me one to try, if I like it, I simply notify the diabetes nurse and they will all change me to Dexcom in the next shipment.

Hi @Ruthbia

I've only used Dexcom One+ and they generally work pretty well for me.

The first 12-24 hours are sometimes a bit vague, but it settles over the course of this first day.I recommend youdo not calibratefor the first 24 hours and let the sensor adapt itself.

I suppose you have already been told, but calibrations must be done at times of stability when there are no significant variations in glucose and you are not under the effect of rapid insulin.I don't usually do calibrations unless I see differences greater than 20%.

It lasts 10 days and you have an additional 12 hours of grace period.I usually insert the new sensor while the grace period of the previous one is active, thereby eliminating those first 12 hours with values that may be imprecise.

Luck!!
