Gwatch failure

Hello!

Today I have noticed that Gwatch has stopped working and I suppose it will be because the freeLinkup app, which is what it uses to obtain the data, they have updated it and surely now it is no longer compatible with GWatch.I confirm, I wanted to ask you if the same thing happens to you too or it is only to me.On the other hand, if the same thing happens to you, do you know if there is any other application to put a widget with the glucose value at the beginning of the mobile?

Hi Toni,

It has happened to me too.

I have installed Glucodatahandler. It has no spheres for the clock but if phone widget and glucose reading on the mobile lock screen.

While they fix GWatch and XDRIP+ through LibreLinkup it can be a good option.

All the best

The same.No

Error 403 on the Gwatch console.

Does not collect FreeLink's web data. The LibreLinkup app has not been updated since September according to my GooglePlay ...

I have tried to change users, reinstall freeLinkup (to accept user conditions), ... I don't know what it can be.

There is a Gwatch user Facebook group to see if they put something.

If anyone knows something or other possibilities such as Glucodatahandler that says they please!

Thank you!

I have already settled glucodatahandler and it seems that it works well.LibreLinkup has changed version and Abbot warned that it had to be updated to work because the old version stopped working today.Surely those of Glucodatahandler have updated the new data exchange formats and those of Gwatch no.But from what I see, the application has been updated since June 2023, while Glucodatahandler did it on November 15, 2024. It is possible that they no longer update it.

Do you know if there is any similar application that directly takes the data at LibreLink's premises?

Good, it also fails with the same error.

Is it known if it will be fixed?I bought the clock just for this reason ...

It happens to me the same, thanks to this forum I have been able to discoverGlucodatahandler and at least I can put the glucose on the mobile screen with the always on display, and have the possibility of seeing glucose at all times ...

Hopefully the G-Watch developer will solve it, just in case I have sent an email to the email that appears in the Facebook group ( Link) We can insist a bit to see if the batteries are put ... and of course if it fixes it to the app 5 stars as the cup of a pine in the Google Play;)

Let's see if there is luck ...

I think it will not be updated and I have uninstalled the application.Luckily we have discoveredGluco Datahandler and it serves me because I only use it to see glucose on the mobile screen without having to enter FreeLink.

If anyone knows any application that reads the data directly at home it would be ideal, since those that do so through LibreLinkup stop working when you are without coverage. For example, making a route through the field, which is just when it is most interesting to see how you are going and avoid hypoglycemia when doing sports.

I just found this in the Gwatch users Facebook group:

Link

You can use glucodatahandler to be web follower and send the data to Gwatch.I just did and it seems that it works well.

In glucodatahandler:

Settings/Transfer Values.Activate "Send glucodata transmission" and under select "Gwatch"

In Gwatch:

Settings/Data Source.Activate "Juggluco" and deactivate "Enable LibreLinkup Follower"

Luck!

Well, I just discovered thatGlucodatahandlerIt also has an app for the galaxy watch in which to be able to put in a "complication" or widget of your watchface your glucose and your trend, which together with the widget to see it on the mobile is just for what G-Watch wanted, soI will give a chance toGlucodatahandleralone ... thank you very much for the contribution !!

Yes, he tries it but has no graphic.According to the developer he is in it but he will take a long time.

Another option with graph is the Blose app for wearos but take data every 5 min (I think not to drain the watch battery).

Have you tried mining or xDrip+?It seems that there is a free -liberated application that apart from being able to live in harmony with the official app and send the data to Abbott, it also allows other applications to read of it, without the need to go through the web as FreeLinkup ... IIt seems that the installation is much more jelly and I do not have that need by not solering to be without coverage, but it takes an eye to the YouTube channel of "chronic diabetes" that seems to explain it quite well.

All the best!

But do you have the option of linking with LibreLinkup or do I have to install xDrip?

Answer of the email I sent to the G-Watch developer:

Hi,
Unfortunately, and Don's Have Time to Maintain The App.Please, use the glucodatahandler with your favourite watch face.

So we can definitely forget G-Watch ...

Well, nothing, to use glucodata, a good thing that I have noticed is that the watch battery does not give me so much, do you know why it can be?I have seen a significant difference
