Hello-

Well, scan the QR and download the application, (first screenshot that attached). The case is that when opening it asks me to activate an NFC (2nd Screenshot) to use the application. If it active it makes me (3rd Screenshot) that activates "NFC and contact payments". I think I am not understanding something.Thank you very much in advance.

Hi.

Well, I've been soaking with NFC that I still did not know and it is a technology that uses freeLink application to communicate with the sensor ........ so I have to activate it.It is proximity only to less than 10 cm. I think what Freestyle's information says:NFC (data transmission in the vicinity) is wireless communication technology that allows free freestyle sensors to transmit data without cables to another device.

For Android users:

The Android phone must have NFC capabilities and have this technology enabled. Many of the latest Android phone models have this NFC function.Check the instruction manual of your phone or go to the Settings menu and display the configurations related to "NFC", "connections", "share" or "wireless connection and networks".
For iPhone users: in order to use the NFC capacity needed to scan the free freestyle sensor, the phone must be iPhone 7 or higher, with iOS 11 or higher

Things Veredes Dear Sancho hahaha ............... Greetings

Well, I've been looking for issues for "NFC" and according to some issues I conclude that you have to have it activated Sinò cannot be communicated with the sensor.

I remember that when I went to the sensor course, of the twenty or so we were, he was the only one who had the phone well configured to work for me.Advantages of being computer.

The application really needs to have two NFC and Bluetooth systems activated. The first to activate the sensor and "match" with the phone (it considers its main contact with "the world" outside). That is why it is different from activating first with the phone or with the reader.

Bluetooth is used to transmit more distance data (meters).I think that at first only alarms, but now also "continuous" data.I started last year and I already had them. And less bad than using the LE (Low Energy, low energy) version because it is not, I would spend the whole battery at all.

I remember spending a lot when I connected the phone to the hands free of the car, 15% or more. And now with the sensor all day only 1% battery.

One issue is that Bluetooth uses the "free" frequencies that also use the remote controls of cars and garage doors, the wifi, the Walki Talkys ... that although they are well designed so as not to affect each other much, sometimes they interfere momentarily.Hence the "connection losses" that are not because they are far.

What a roll

Thanks grati and it is no roll any. The truth is that I have been with the matter (advantages of being retired) and some conclusion in clean I have taken out and I stopped that I am on the right track. First Activè NFC, open the application, configure some things and I prepared to prove if I communicated with the sensor and voila` !!It communicates !!! What happens is that I send a mistake that attached to you. The error is understandable since the current sensor is activated with the free freestyle reader 2. I think that when I change the sensor I will activate it with the mobile and wait to see what happens. Thank you for your answer and a greeting

@Cacharo: You are doing very well. When this message comes out, correct how you put the mobile near the sensor when you escape it.ProbablyYou include it too much or you put it too close ...

If you are right, now learning to put the mobile, it scan me perfectly and gives me "nailed" results to the free freestyle meter.

Grateful and greetings

Exact @cacharro if you activate with the reader, the mobile does not give alarms.

The NFC is used to activate the sensor and to pay with the mobile in dataophones if you have active your bank cards on your mobile.

The reader as the mobile is communicated by Bluetooth, but if you activate with the reader, the mobile does not read you if you do not put the mobile on the sensor.Every 8 hours is enough, because the sensor stores data for 8 hours, it has a small memory

But with the mobile you read you for Bluetooth or only when you escape?

If it works by Bluetooth even if it says that the alarms do not work if you did not activate it with it, in reality if they usually work.

If the Bluetooth does not work, uninstalling the app and again installs it usually works.History is lost, but it is your first sensor, it doesn't matter much.

Hello, the mobile only reads the glucose if I approach the sensor, that is, when I scan that I suppose what you mean, but the one who is connected to the sensor is the reader because as I said it activates it.

@Cacharro If you want to measure continuously, since you have activated with the reader, your only option is to install Diabox these 15 days.

To read you in Continuo LibreLink you have to start the sensor with this application, this is useless of the Free reader with whom you can only hair, do not read your sensor.

It is not the only option, you can use the reader and LibreLink by Bluetooth at the same time.Simply uninstalling and re -installing the freeLink app.At least I did it with 2 or 3 sensors.(Diabox seems to me a terribly bad app)

Ruthbia: I have been looking and Diabox seems to be a program outside the Abbott tools, is it like that?

The sensor started with LibreLink and is the one who reads continuously, gives alarms etc. The mobile only reads when I approach it, but I have to wait to incy the new sensor with the mobile to do everything that does the freeLink.

I started a couple of sensors with the reader and then freelink in principle did not read me continuously, nor did the alarms worked for me.

But if I uninstalled the Freestyle app and install it again, although I lost all the record, then the distance reading worked continuously and even the alarms in the Freestyle app, although I came out the sign that I did not, in reality if they worked for me.

Even so, I recommend you start with the mobile, because the reader interferences with it.
