Those of you who have a sensor "on the outside" of your arm...

...you didn't tear it off by accident??

I have been using Librelink for many years (first the 3rd and now the 2nd) and I have always carried it on my arm but "on the inside", the first day they gave it to me the nurse told me that it would be easier not to tear it off, for example at a door when passing by.

Now I carry the Librelink and another sensor that they offered us if we wanted to try it to help before they went on sale. They told the 3 volunteers that it should go on the outside on the arm, which is where it reads the values well and so on... well, in less than 1 week I have already torn off 2 sensors!!The last one home 10 minutes ago, walking through the door calmly (and wearing a long-sleeved shirt).

I suppose you'll get used to being careful but come on, it seems impossible for me to be able to wear a sensor like that unless you sell my arm with a bracelet or similar.

By the way, the Librelink and the new sensor measure practically the same, with the Librelink "inside" and the new one "outside".

Greetings!!

Hi.

Yes, at some point I did hit it against the door but I couldn't get it to start or even take it off somewhere. Anyway, I immediately think about where I'm taking it to be careful and more specifically not to cross the doors "in a mess" hahaha. What worries me the most is when I sleep on the side of the sensor below but I never had any problems either... knock on wood. In my case some of them came off in the summer when I was doing something in the garden and sweating a lot... I sweat a lot. In this case I stuck a paper tape with a little hole on it and it stuck until the next change.

Greetings

Hello!

I am very fast...I collide with everything, I carry everything in front of me...and yes, I tear off the sensors when passing through doors...when turning corners...not one of them has reached me in one piece yet.The funny thing is that I have skin that sticks very well to anything I put on it.Well, I tear off the sensors from the glue they come with, leaving the circle of tape on the arm.I can't put it inside because it gives me hypoglycemia all the time.Even on the outside, sleeping on it gives me hiccups all night.I put the latter on the front leg.In my head it sounded spectacular. But I already have it half torn off from walking around the kitchen counter... It will go back to my arm because it is also giving me a reaction in my leg.And I'll try it with tape...let's see if that works...Or try it on my belly...I don't know what I could use on my belly...

Hello

I don't know how they come off, but on Amazon I buy some round transparent stickers to protect it when I swim and they protect it.They are very economical. And if not, they sell some kind of bracelets to prevent them from falling off when you exercise... either one could work for you.

No, the Librelink has never come off for me, perhaps it was already the last few days of summer being at the beach/pool a lot...

What is impossible for me is to carry it on the outside of my arm, passing through the doors I wear them 🤣🤣
