Mobile does not receive real -time reading at all times

Good morning, my 12 -year -old son has diagnosed diabetes 1 a few weeks ago.I bought a Samsung Galaxy A25 5G since I did not find new models for sale compatible with freestyle 2 sensors and in the hospital they told us that the update of the list is slow and that a Samsung model with 5G would not give problems. The first two weeks, with the manual scan, was all perfect. When linking the new sensor we detect that if the active mobile is receiving the signal perfectly. However, when the mobile is blocked, stop receiving information. He passes at night and in school.Every 1 or 2 hours we have to unlock it.I think I have tried all the configuration options by adjusting them to what is indicated by the manuals of the official application and nothing. We are a little desperate thinking about losing possible alarms ... I do not know if something similar happened to someone, if I escape any configuration, if I must buy a mobile from the list, ... Thank you very much in advance! José

Surely it is a problem of compatibility with the last update of the freestyle ... but just in case ... check that the application to use the battery has no restrictions .... I can't think of anything else ...

If you do not solve it, install Diabox from Telegram. It measures continuously and now that mobile phones will prohibit in the choles, with the mobile in the blocked backpack, Diabox easily broadcasts a Samsung smartwatch
Thank you very much, the battery in principle is not restricted to freestyle, to uninstall the application and install it seems good idea although I am afraid that the mobile will disconnect from the sensor, I am a rookie.I don't know if I should do it when I change the sensor ... I don't know the Diabox application, is it compatible with the sensor? Thank you!

Nothing happens to remove the application while using the sensor. At most you could lose the history but if you have a freeview account you keep it online and when you install it and put the name it would already recover everything.
Diabox if it is compatible with free2.It is an unofficial app but has advantages over the officer, such as allowing the sensor to calibrate.

Thank you very much, in the end I think it is a mobile problem.I thought that the application could not be uninstalled until the sensor change.Yesterday we tried with my mobile (Motorola G73 5G) and with that of my wife (Samsung A54) and transmitted perfectly. All the best!

Go then to notice that people do not buy the Samsung A25.
And until people would not confirm it I would quarantine the entire future range of Samsung A35, A55, A75 ...

Have you tried any of the new Samsung models of this 2024?
The first they have taken this year has been precisely the A25 5G, which the OP speaks and it seems that when it is blocked, it does not receive sensor data.
Although up to time the Samsung have gone very well, that I do not think it serves as a comfort to those who have bought this model that does not work.
Until they fix it, I would not buy the new ones that are taking out.It is not a problem that everyone has from now on.

True, based on my experience I would not take the A25.We were caught by this situation. My advice is that if you do not have a compatible mobile from the list, you try an existing one to see if it goes.We did it backwards, we bought it first ... Thank you those who have answered me in this forum for helping me, last night we could sleep calmly knowing that the mobile received data from the sensor at all times. All the best.
