Someone can tell me what use insulin bomb and if it is worth it, I have heard of some who even warn you of hyperglycemia.Thank you

Hi @David Leon, if you need hypos notices and hyper you need a continuous glucose meter (MCG).There are bombs that communicate with these sensors and notify you, but it is thanks to the sensor, which is the source of information.The pump is a mere receiver of sensor information.However, if you have sensors that warn and do not need a bomb.

You have Medtronic (640g) bomb that talks to your Guardian sensor.
You have an animas bomb that talks to Dexcom G4.

And the same options without pump and more that are going on the market.

He believed that they only existed in combination with bombs.So you tell me that there are sensors who notify you without using a pump?I use free freestyle but it does not warn and I would like to have one that monitor the glycemia at the same time that I let me know and hyper.
