Hi there.

I just bought the freestyle and I have the first sensor.According to the page where purchases and instructions, the sensor lasts 14 days, but my question is as follows: Does the sensor duration are altered by the times you check your levels? That is, if you get few readings, hold the 14 days and if you become many lasts less of those days?
Thanks anticipated.

It lasts 14 days, regardless of the use you make.

There is Paco, my son the first day gives some somewhat different levels with respect to the capillary. But then they are compensated. Before putting it on you try that the glucose level is stable and not having a quick insulin acting. And in the time that takes to be recognizable by the reader, be it the mobile for which there is an application or the one that accompanies the patch, save relative rest.I do it like this to my little one and it is fine during the 14 days.
