A promoter team of seven people, among which are several Galicians, seeks funds to develop a device prototype that aims to help patients control diabetes, although it could also serve other chronic ailments.
The project has approximately one year of life.As explained to Europa Press one of its promoters and director in Galicia, Suso Pérez, the team hopes to be able to launch the pilot experience in a Galician hospital, while passing the test in the United States.
Although the headquarters are currently in Madrid, the promoters of the initiative also study the possibility of transferring the entire project to Galicia.
With the idea of getting funds for manufacturing, as well as knowing the response it can have in the market, a crowfunding campaign is scheduled, which will remain open for a month, extendable, if you have a high demand.
This project, which is named after 'Insulclock' is a device for helping people with diabetes, and allows, according to their promoters, to know how much insulin has been put, sugar levels, the type of insulin that has beenposition.
In addition, it has the process automated, so that these data, in addition to "solving forgetfulness" or having the ability to "create alarms", also allows doctors to know the degree of fulfillment and patient's routines.
