How it is calculated
3 points per topic, 2 per comment and 1 per like received. The initial message of a topic does not count again as a comment. Self-likes are excluded.
Only topics and comments published in the last 30 days, and likes received on those contributions during this period, count. Updated hourly.
Achievements detected in the last 30 days also count: level 2 earns 3 points, level 3 earns 6, level 4 earns 8, level 5 earns 10, level 6 earns 12 and level 7 earns 15. These points add up across all three categories. Level 1, initial synchronization and simulations earn no points. When several levels are skipped at once, only the final celebrated level counts.
Ties are resolved by likes received, then comments, then topics, and finally member ID. Points reflect participation, not the quality of advice.
Support offered earns 3 points per distinct person supported, up to 24 points in any rolling seven days. Profile, topic and comment support count together. Supporting the same person again only counts after seven days, with a new gesture. Messages and edits earn no extra points. Withdrawn or moderated support is excluded; receiving support earns no points.
Companionship levels earn no additional ranking points. Offering support already counts in the ranking.
