Hello, I am 56 years old and Lada type diabetes since 44 and I write to comment that mE have failed 5 of the last 6 free freestyle sensors 2 plus.
The sensors have always given me many problems but since they took version 2 Plus, they have multiplied and diversified a lot.
Two of them did not show a single measurement, one of which did not even end the initiation phase and began to repeat it until I ended up tear it up as to the sixth attempt.Another came to work just a few hours and two others released after having worked perfectly for a few days.
Since they changed them in Aragon's health, I have noticed that they get rid of me more easily as soon as I turn sports even though I wear antialergenic adhesive tape around the arm, which is quite annoying, and even so.
But as I say there seems to be no single cause of failure, rather it gives the feeling that they have worsened in all aspects.
My lada diabetes combined with intensive sport can produce enough ups and downs at glucose levels and I don't know if it has to do with the high percentage of failures that I observe, but I no longer know what to do so they don't give problems.
I am seriously thinking of giving up the sensors because in the end I can not take them or half of the time and it is a can to fill the form go to emails to send the damaged sensor and wait another two weeks to get another and fail again.

I use the 2 plus since April and I have not had any problem with them.
My last failure sensor was in October last year. And it was from the previous model.
I would not mean that these failures will be permanent. And since the sensors -if they work -, help you control you, I would not leave them.
Can you ask for another model? It would be another better option than to return to the glucometer.

Similar experience. At least the spare sensors are not giving me war.

To me of the new ones no day any 15 days, around day 10 asks for replacement.

I will not give up the sensors but I will not worry about more, the one that works well and the one that does not give it and to the glucometer, I have no patience or time to lose making a guinea pig.

Hello,
I have taken since 2019 with a sensor and I have never failed any, it is true that once I start it because of the sun cream but I did not fail the previous one or now with the plus and I do nothing but read comments of failures, what problems does it give you?

Good morning!
They fail me from time to time.It may be one in 4 or 5.
But the change does not suppose so much trouble. He called Abbot directly and sent me a new one. Then, when I fit, I send you the broken.
All the best.

Hello.Since the SAS in Andalusia also changed them I have noticed that they are more unpredictable.I had a long time without failures with the previous 14 days but these of 15 take a long time to catch up with the measurements or the last two days go badly, they give error and ask for replacement ... this in 3 or 4 out of 5. I wish the next remittances are stabilized.I am type 2 diabetic and with anticoagulants.I have requested replacement when they lacked 50 hours of life and without any glue.To be so aware of them, I am also putting it into practice, it is a tyranny, moreover, I have removed all the alarms.I was more of my symptoms than of measurements of 55 when I am really between 80 and 70;As support they serve but as a diagnosis, no.Greetings.

They are failing a lot, almost everyone fails me, they give readings well below what it really is, and after the days it says to replace sensor. I do not know that it is happening in Abbot, but the sensors are no longer reliable.
I hope the batteries are put and solve the problems that the sensors have.

Yesterday the endocrine told me that this new series of free 2 measures below real glycemia and that none reaches 15 days.
I have noticed that it measures about 30 below and end between day 10 and 12. I have about 6.

It does not have, the application only receives data, does not send data to the sensor to stop. Moreover, the last one gave me the reader and replacement, while the app and Diabox continued to measure until 14, at least it almost reached useful life.
The one that I have now is the second that reaches 15 days, but I already tell you that I commented to the nurses and endocrine, and they told me that yes, that it is something that they continually receive from the users, that this second edition of Free2+ many do not reach 15 days.
